Description
RefactorIT is a comprehensive refactoring tool for corporate developers covering every part of the refactoring cycle. It provides a fast method of cleaning a large and constantly evolving code base and a specific feature set for understanding, analysing, re-organising, streamlining and testing code and using quantitative metrics to monitor code evolution.

Refactoring is advocated as a primary discipline to be applied to code bases within each iteration as a fundamental way to keep code flexible and clean and able to evolve. The quantifiable benefits of refactoring are that:

* Code becomes easier to understand and faster to read

* Team learning curves are flattened

* Bugs are revealed and often repaired simply through the reorganisation of code fragments

* Execution speed may improve

* Code becomes more maintainable and extensible

* Developer productivity increases

* Code iterations increase allowing more frequent user feedback and incremental testing.
