This tool contains two parts:

* A utility that manages the import and export of code templates. Templates are stored in an XML file externally and can be easily copied between machines. Once an external file is selected, templates may be transferred in either direction, with one-step identification of templates that are different between the two.

* A property page that lets you create new code template sets. These sets are attached to a specific node type within JBuilder and are only available to those nodes. JBuilder comes with built-in Java and HTML templates. Sample templates for XML and JSP are included with this tool (in the XML format used above). See the help files for more details.

Just copy the jar file to the JBuilder/lib/ext directory, copy the *Doc.jar file to the JBuilder/doc directory, and restart JBuilder to install the tools. The Template Manager appears on the Tools menu, while the Template Sets page appears in the Editor Options dialog.
