Description
|
Do you remember "Door games" from the heyday of public Bulletin Boards? Such games were the primitive precursors to today's MMORPGs. Different people could dial in and play these games against each other (though not sumultaneously, unless the SysOp had multiple phone lines into his home). Traveler was my contribution to the genre. Unfortunately, by the time I finished developing it, BBSes were on the way out in favor of this new-fangled "Internet" thing that had suddenly become very popular. You can play it in single-player mode on your own PC if you wish to give it a try...
