ID: 21990, Custom Resource Generator

by Andrea Raimondi Email: Anonymous

Custom Resource Generator helps you creating RCDATA resource files,
generating the RC file for you and compiling it automatically.
This is a rename from the previous Custom Resource Builder which would conflict with SIComponents' Resource Builder product.

Custom Resource Builder is a very simple program.

When you need to go the custom resources way( i.e. texts, sounds,
whatever )it can be quite difficult to find a freeware program
that does it - or even a commercial one that does it without
having to mess around with weird things and complex itineraries.

With this, you just add your items and press one button to
compile it. That's all.

With Windows 2000 Pro, command prompt seems to have
problems with spaces in folder/file names, thus
Brcc32 doesn't like that. Please make sure your
paths and file names comply with that.

This program doesn't modify any exe file, it just
builds the resource file. You have then to link it
into your application and load its resources.

Does work as a standalone app, with a configuration
file. Wasn't tested with other Delphi version, but
*should* work with most of them.

Complete source code is available upon a $10 donation.
See "Support me.txt" or the program's main form for
further informations on this topic.

The binary application is entirely FREEWARE.

I would want to make it possible to use with other development
environments. Contact me for further informations.
