InterBase is a full-featured, high performance and scalable relational database for software developers who are looking to embed a low cost, zero-admin, lightweight database into applications.
Installing the InterBase 2017 Server Edition Trial
- Download InterBase 2017 to your local computer or server.
- Extract the .zip file to a new directory.
- On Windows, run the installation program, install_windows.exe. This will enable you to install either a 32-bit or 64-bit Edition of InterBase 2017, and, standard connectivity drivers for ODBC, JDBC and ADO.NET
- On Linux, run install_linux_x86.sh on x86 system for 32bit Edition, and, install_linux_x86_64.sh on x86_64 system for 32bit or 64bit Edition. During the installation process, you will be prompted to enter the InterBase serial number.
- On macOS, from Finder App double-click ib_install_macOS.zip, or, run install_macOS.sh from command-line to install from Terminal App shell window
