What is AdvancedReplace?
========================

AdvancedReplace is a opentool that provides new replacement capabilities in JBuilder :

It uses regular expression --- I'm a vi/perl addict ;o) --- and allows to replace text in the whole file or in a block (a selection block or a block defined by a start and a end line).

Installation
============

Copy advancedReplace.jar into your {$JBUILDER_HOME}/lib/ext directory

In order to use AdvancedReplace, make sure there is a file named gnuregexp.jar into your {$JBUILDER_HOME}/lib directory. If not you can download the latest version of gnu.regexp package at http://www.cacas.org/~wes/java/#latest

Changes in AdvancedReplace 1.3
==============================

- Keystroke added (Ctrl-Alt-R, customizable in Tools > IDE Options > Browser > Customize)
- Dialog made modal
- Cancel button added

Changes in Advanced replace 1.2
=================================

- appears in Search > Advanced replace
- uses regexp (see http://www.cacas.org/~wes/java/syntax.html)
- keeps last 10 patterns/replacements
- replaces pattern in a selection bloc or between 2 lines
(if you leave start line blank, replacement begins at the start of the file; if you leave end line blank, replacement ends at the end of the file)

Todo
====

- Give more control over regexp compilation
- ... I need feedback ;-)

Warranty
========

This software is provided "as is" with no warranty of any kind. I take no responsibility for any damages that may result from using it.
