The default toString method inherited from java.lang.Object just prints out the classname and memory address of the object. In most cases, this is less than useful. As a developer, I've often found myself creating a toString method that iterates over the properties of the class and printing them out in a pretty way. To stop doing that every time, I wrote this open tool to do exactly that for me. Just put the jar file in /lib/ext and restart jbuilder. From that point on, when you edit a .java file in jbuilder, there should be an extra option when you right click on that files tab of "Override toString() method." Clicking this causes the toString method to be created or replaced. The toString that is created prints out an XML fragment encapsulating all the properties of the class and non-private properties of the class it extends.
